The Business of Digital Media**\nIntroduction to digital media elements in current market conditions. Focuses on critical success factors for business development, marketing, and stakeholder relationships.\n\n**2. Interactive Media Development**\nFoundational skill training to observe form and action. Teaches students to put thought onto paper and understand objects in relation to surrounding space.\n\n**3. Digital Imaging**\nDevelops detailed understanding of digital imaging and painting (photo manipulation, compositing). Students create and publish a portfolio of digital art.\n\n**4. 2D Animation**\nTeaches principles of animation and applications using Flash software. Supports production of interactive websites and games using traditional principles (squash, stretch) for believability.\n\n**5. Storyboarding**\nFocuses on visual development of concepts into narrative forms. Covers mise-en-scène, camera work, color moods, character\u002Flayout design, and shot planning.\n\n**6. Principles of Design**\nCovers basics of graphic design, layout, and typography. Examines the relationship between visual and verbal language and technical typography issues.\n\n**7. Foundation 3D**\nTrains on essentials in 3D creation and animation using Maya. Focuses on 3D text, modeling, lighting, rendering, and camera work to create usable 3D animated scenes.\n\n**8. Sound Design**\nProvides practical and technical tools to record and craft audio, music, and sound elements for media projects.\n\n**9. Digital Video**\nEnables students to plan, develop, and create mini video productions.
